FIDC at its meeting of 17/11/2022 asked the Vice-President Governance and University Secretary to further review the Terms of Reference, including the number of Council members required to be on the Finance and Infrastructure Development Committee and suitable mechanisms for reporting to Council. The draft amends the terms of office from 2 years to 3 years, provides for the Chair of FIDC to be invited as an Observer at Council meetings, if they are not already a Council member, enables Council members to observe FIDC meetings, if they inform the Chair and Secretary in advance, and makes minor administrative changes to position titles and wording to ensure consistency with the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee terms of reference.
